Boundaries (Hippo) — boundaries, the depths, lucid dreaming, Taweret’s guardianship
Their realm is the water. On land they are heavy and conspicuous.
Submerged, they are fluent — walking the bottom, pushing off, rising and sinking at will, moving through an underwater world the rest of us can only imagine. My first night in camp, under a full moon, they kept me awake until dawn with a grunting and splashing party. Then the light came up and everything went quiet.
